01The core workflow

All accounts

Start every investigation with a case file. It keeps notes, the mind map, searches and map pins together and saves automatically.
Open the case in the workspace, ask the AI analyst what you want to learn, then confirm leads with the catalog tools it suggests.
Pin places you can source to the intel map, and check the news watch floor for context around the target or region.
Return any time from Overview. Recent cases open straight into the workspace where you left off.

All accounts

Give each case a clear title, a target (username, domain, person, aircraft) and a discipline: OSINT, SIGINT, HUMINT or GEOINT.
Cases are private to your account. Nobody else, including other subscribers, can read them.
Mark a case closed when you are done so Overview only highlights active work.

Paid plans

Be specific: “Find accounts linked to the username johndoe88 and the email domain example.com” works better than “research this person”.
The analyst adds people, accounts, domains and links to the mind map as it goes. Drag nodes, add your own and connect them manually.
Treat every AI finding as a lead, not a fact. Open the source and confirm it before relying on it.
Use the quick target search on Overview to jump straight to tools that match a username, email, phone, IP or domain.

Paid plans

Launch a remote browser from the workspace to open unknown links without exposing your own device or address.
Sessions are time-limited and count against your daily browser minutes. Save anything you need before the session ends.

Toggle layers from the side panel: aircraft, ships, satellites, earthquakes, storms, wind, GPS jamming, cables, chokepoints and more.
Zoom in far enough and the globe dissolves into street view with traffic cameras, ALPR, police and mesh network points.
Click any aircraft, bus or camera for details and actions, including adding it to a case.
Positions come from public feeds and can lag or be incomplete. Coverage circles show proximity, not confirmed sensor range.

Pick categories to filter wire feeds, and add your own RSS sources for niche topics or regions.
Pop video streams out into their own window to keep them on a second screen.
Generate an AI briefing to summarize the latest headlines across your selected feeds.

All plans

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or OpenWebUI to Cylect over MCP with sign-in or a personal API key from Account settings.
Agents can search the catalog, read your cases, add mind-map findings and pin locations, all within your daily limits.
